    SSL does this make sense

    Im trying to setup SSL
this is what my host is telling me to do

    ....
If you have purchased a Plus+ hosting package you can establish a secure, 128bit-encrypted connection to your site by accessing it with an alternative address of the format https://secure.hosts.co.uk/~your-domain.com

To point your visitors to the secure 'area' of your site, simply link or redirect to the target page using the alternative URL. For example, if you have a page on your website called form.html which needs encrypting, simply create a link to it called https://secure.hosts.co.uk/~your-domain.com/form.html

is this right it seems wrong to me?

If you send your Host the settings that you require to populate the SSL tab on 'Advanced | Network Setup', then they should be able to provide you with the necessary details. To enable SSL go to 'Business Settings | Payment and Security' and select SSL.
