Order manager with Version 8

I'm thinking of upgrading to Version 8 from 7, but have a few clients using Actinic Order Manager (V-7) Question: Can I use V-8 on my end for design and editing, but clients continue using V-7 order manager to retrive orders?

I think you should be able to - I have a client using V7 Catalog to process orders from a V8 site at the moment without any problem. Of course non of the V8 extras will work ie best sellers, also bought etc
