Product alignment issues (IE & FF, Catalog & Brochure)

Yes it's me again... the guy who's going to use all the actinic community bandwidth by posting question upon question until he get's his first site finished!

    Sorry!

Wierd wierd problem which I just can't figure out. I'm sure I haven't changed anything that should affect it but here goes:

When viewing an offline preview of my site, Firefox works fine in that both my catalog product pages AND my brochure pages all show the main content as left aligned.

HOWEVER, when I swap to Iinternet Explorer, my brochure pages show the main content left aligned (correctly) product text is centre aligned!

Even though in Themes > Advanced Themes Configuration > Page Layouts > Advanced Page Configuration I've change the Brochure 'Outer Layout Selector' to 'StandardLayout'. Was instructed to do this by Chris Dicken at http://community.actinic.com/showthr...529#post119529. So both my brochure and catalog layouts should be the same.

    DAMN I.E!

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Can you supply web link so we can see your html and css? More than likely something in there.

    Paul.

Sorted upload problems: it's >>here<< now.

One other thing apart from the above problem. Go to"View Cart" and the page is all messed up. Every other page is fine. Any ideas why?

        Thanks in advance.

firstly, try adding text-align:left; to your product_list css.

          your shopping cart has this:
          <table width="1000" border="0" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="2">

not sure where the 1000 is coming from, but thats what is causing it. (try a variable.). I don't use the actinic css/variables etc so not sure where its from.

          Paul.

            Okay, will try that.

The shopping cart thing's wierd. It looks like it's a completely different layout!

            Thanks.

In 'Settings | Site Options | Layout' under 'Site' check to see if the 'Checkout Pages Layout' and the 'View Cart Page Layout' are using the same layout. If not, change to the appropriate layout and that should fix the display.

              Kind regards,

Thanks for that guy... for some reason the cart was on a different layout!

And thanks Paul... the text-align worked!

                thanks again!
