Problems with Quickbooks and v8

Hi

I have tried using actinilink ...works fine if no vat was on original order ie overseas. Does throw up error message as soon as it tries to consider the vat.
States wrong code..not recognised name in actinic.

Anyone know a solution.
Iam using qickbooks regular.

have you checked that the VAT code you're using in actinic has the same name in quickbooks? The error seems to imply that one or other application doesn't recognsie the VAT code (name?) that you're using.

The screenshot in the help manual that comes with Actinic Link (check in the Start menu programs group) has a screenshot that shows how tax should be set up in Actinic Link. This should help you out.

There are also some 'Before You Begin' type caveats in the manual to make sure that your QuickBooks and Actinic setups are compatable. Hope all that helps.
