    Section headers not displaying properly.

I'm having problems with the section headers not displaying properly when I open that section.

Often it starts blank and then slowly some or all of it appears. Sometimes it doesn't seem to want to appear at all, and if I click in the space letters or part of letters start to appear.

You can see what I mean, here:

It displays fine on my PC.

any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Seems to be an Internet Explorer issue. Firefox has no problems at all.

Try using <font> or <span> tags around the section title rather than <h1> tags.

sorry I don't understand what you mean by font tags etc. I am just using the inbuilt headers provided by Actinic

What I mean is if you click on the section header in the Design tab, you will see that in the 'Layout Code' panel at the bottom there is a blue variable highlighted called 'SectionName'.

            <h1>SectionName</h1>

            Change this to something like...

            <span style="font-size: 20px; font-weight: bold; color: #336699;">SectionName</span><br /><br />

And see if it makes a difference in IE.

sorry it's taken me a while to get back, I've been dealing with other more urgent issues with Actinic.

What I don't understand is why I will need to change the code, when I am using a standard Actinic design (with a couple of changes of colour and a new header).

It looks like this might be a bug in Internet Explorer. If you scroll down the page and back up again, the heading appears perfectly.

I can only suggest maybe going to 'Settings | Site Options | Layout' and changing the 'Main Product Area Layout' (in the 'Section' area) to 'Standard Section Page'. This will remove the section heading.
