Product Groups Limitations

We recently discovered a rather funny limitation when we cannot make products to be members of several groups at once as Actinic obviously does not support many-to-many relationships in these groups.

We need it for discounting reasons as follows:
1) Three groups are having their own discounts not limiting each other, and
2) at the same time, there is an offer on ALL products except of one, and that one is the reward.

Thus almost all products have to be members of at least two groups at once.

How to solve this problem with the recent build of Actinic?

Unforunately there is no way around this, products can only be in one group at a time.

This is not very nice limitation as it is really debasing usefulness of such product, which has lots of problems anyway.

I'm not sure if it's entirely what you want, but you could create duplicate products and add them to the second groups.

Duplicate product is not the product on its own, thus it is even not shown as a separate product.
