Adding a "Listen" first option before adding to cart?

Hi

New here and am in the process of setting up a website that will sell MP3 downloads of music Riffs. one thing that is crucial to this is to be able to allow the customer to "listen" to the riff first before adding it to a cart for purchase

i am wondering if this software will allow me to set that up? i couldn't find anything like that in the sample store.

Untried, but I would think you can set up a variable, type filename, use file contents. Create a new product layout that includes a button link to <a href="THEVARIABLENAME" type="application/mp3">....

I would add the mp3 to the link tab and have it open in a new window.

There used to be a music specific Actinic product when v7 was launched - not sure if this is still available
