There are some cool new upgrade options in 8.0.3 which should make life a little easier when the time comes to upgrade to v8.
First up, for those upgrading from v6/v7 there is now an option within the upgrader to just apply the default v8 design to the site. This means that you can start your design from scratch if you prefer, and benefit straight away from some of the new features.
Furthermore, if you spend time getting your design looking right in v8, while your v6/v7 site is still taking orders, transferring the latest orders from v6/v7 to v8 is now a breeze. There is an option in 'File | Import Orders' which means you can just transfer your order history just before putting your new v8 store live.
