General Actinic query: designer and catalog compatibility

Hi!

As I'm working on my first store I'm not sure exactly how actinic works yet:

I'm wanting to know how I, the designer, can download updates that my client has made with their catalog software.

I.e.If my client has added products, changed prices etc since I last uploaded the website, how do i retrieve these updates before making design changes? And if I don't retrieve updates, will I overwrite/delete any additions they made when I next upload the site?

If you use designer you don't need to retrieve your clients updates to prices products etc.

You work on the design only, there is an option to create a design snapshot only. Thus when you return the new design to your client that is all you update
