Can the theme option be disabled?

We had a custom template in v7 and now in v8 it has gone up the wall with the theme settings and other things.

    Richard.

Have you got the source files external to V7 for your site design?

I do, just done some playing around. Actinic replaced the actinic.css file with the theme options enabled and some CSS elements which create the webpage are deleted so which makes it look BAD!

        OK Richard

If you have the files are you using DW at all?

If so, follow the guides (search for register in the help section of v8) and this will guide you on how to add your design into Actinic layout.

Remember, your design is the outer layout of the design, everything you wish to see in the inner layout from actinic (products, sections etc) will need the same named variable added where you wish to see them (beware of your inner section size and image sizes etc).

With the css, just ensure you save the file into the SITE1 folder and reference to it within your design head as normal.

Feel free to shout if you need any more.
