Section Details - general tab, Description not showing

When I go to the section details, on the general tab there is description. This description shows for my sub-sections but not my main sections.

I am using css clean layout 13.

Is there a way to show the description for the main sections?

Hi Leigh,

I just checked it on a default site and it works for me. But one thing I would double check, is if you go to the "Design" tab, and click on the section name, so in the code view it says "Layout Code - CSS Section Link Layout", please can you make sure it say it has

<p><actinic:variable name='SectionDescription'/></p>

before

</div>

If this has been removed then the section description will not show
