    Layouts

Created a new section in V8 and can't workout how to get the correct layout tabs showing.

Here is what I mean. The first two images are the correct general & layout tabs in previous sections and the last two images are the section I just created with the wrong general and layout tabs. Also I have the add to cart button as an image throughout the site but on the new section it comes up as just the actinic standard button.

Is this happening on every new section you create, or is it just on this one specific section? If it is just on this one section, I suggest you move all the products out of it to a temporary location, and then delete and recreate this section and see if that helps.
Also I have the add to cart button as an image throughout the site but on the new section it comes up as just the actinic standard button.
The 'Standard Layout Using CSS' product layout uses a 'fixed layout' for the add to cart button - where it is hard-coded to use the standard Actinic style of cart button. To fix this, change the default product layout to something like 'Standard With Image On Left'.

Actually what I did was just changed the button_singleaddtocart.gif and button_addtocart.gif but when I upload it still reverts to the Actinic standard one. I don't know where it gets it from as I have already overwritten it with my new one.

It is happening to all new sections created and your remedy doesn't work as I have tried it.

Sorry Owen - I'm stumped on this.

You could try doing a 'Housekeeping | Compact Databases'. If that doesn't work, please register an email support query via http://www.actinic.co.uk/actinic/register.htm and the team can take a look and fugure out what is going wrong.
