I got this error..... then this one.....

I can't upload my new site.....I get this error message on uploading to webspace for the first time.

Possible trigger was opening another site, which needed to be upgraded to 8.03, I can't remember what happened but I don't think it upgraded, I then switched back to the site I was working on.

Not much help jo but I have had several corrupted databases since messing with V8. On upgrade it seems to hold onto the V7 database link and causes V8 and V7 to loose thier database connection.

Not had it with a scratch built site - yet

This site started life as v8. It still has the actinic products in it. I've only been messing with design.

but I do have a backup database taken at 8pm this evening, so all it not lost

Presumably you have repaired the database. Have you got a table called MergeFileState?
