Constant crashing of V8.03 when registering...

...a new css controlled layout.

We have built a new 'fluid' css website and have attempted to register it numerous times with different names but each time -

ACTINIC V8.03 CRASHES and DW displays a 'couldn't register, design exists etc)

What is going on guys?

Compacted the db, restarted etc, but it will NOT let us register this design?

no java present, it does not pick up the actinic headers before it crashes? totally peeved here guys.

This has turned a 2 hour job into a complete nightmare guys??

OK,

this now seems to have sorted itself out. Bit annoying but hey, thats the nature of the beast.

The problem was solved by removing ALL external designs from this particular site and starting again. Unsure what was going on but we have summised that there was maybe an issue with an advanced java drop down we were trying to insert.

Another day, another learning curve surpassed...

what we have learnt is to tread carefully with java. This is not the first time some scripts (working on our non-act sites) have been added into the actinic mix and caused havoc.
