Barclays ePDQ & Actinic 8

Hi y'all...

My boss has just registered with Barclays ePDQ to accept online payments - suddenly apparent is the lack of integration skills....

I got the perl scripts, but where do I change the id tags of each of the input fields (total amount, address, name etc) so the script can speak to the SSL and create a correct payment? And do I just replace the perl script used for the orders with the Barclays altered example script?

Other than that - things are looking up! HeH.....

Any help would be appreciated!

ePDQ does NOT integrate directly with Actinic, you need to get an account with Securehosting who provide the link. Once set-up you only need to enter the secure hosting account number into Actinic - no messing with scripts etc.

There has to be a way of getting the two to communicate to one another...

You could always buy an integration kit from actinic and write it yourself. Not something I'd recommend.

I agree but untill Barclays get thier finger out then you are stuck with Securehosting. The integration kit costs about £1200 but I think needs serious knowledge to get it working.

This is the problem with epdq a better big bank psp is HSBC who integrate direct with V8.

The only solution is to use Secure Hosting. It will take you longer than £100 of your paidtime to script it yourself and thus reinvent the wheel

Barclays did say they're 'looking into' creating it so it can all be done in-house - don't know if that was just bullsh answer to get the line clear! Heh...
