This may be an Actinic problem, or a Microsoft problem. If anyone can shed any light ...
We are running Actinic v8.0.2. Our shop is contained in subdirectories of our main company site ( e.g. main site at www.skfservices.com, shop at www.skfservices.com/acatalog etc. ).
We are now using Microsoft Expression Web Designer ( beta ) to design our main site. This can use http or ftp to upload our main site files. Whenever we update our main site, the Actinic shop fails with 'script errors' at the point where you add something to the basket. We have tried this with http and Frontpage Extensions installed on our ISP's server, and with ftp after Frontpage Extensions have been removed, but the same thing always happens.
Simply performing an 'update' of the shop cures the problem ( apparently there's no need to 'refresh' the whole site.
The Microsoft package asks if you want to delete the Actinic shop files, and we reply 'No to all', but obviously an Actinic file is being corrupted somehow.
I will forward this message to Microsoft as well, and if they reply I will post here.
Does anyone have any experience of this or a similar problem ?
Thanks,
Alan
