Ctrl P = New Product

Anyone else find that Ctrl P for creating a new product not working in V8?

Just tested on 8.0.3 here, and it works for me. One thing to check, is make sure that you highlighted something in the "Content Tree", so the focus is on that, then try the shortcut key again please..

If you highlight something in the content tree it works for the first product and then when you enter all the details and hit enter that product is now highlighted but when you do Ctrl+P again it doesn't work. Try it.

Thankyou, yes I can recreate it, It looks like the focus is still on "Product Detail", and not the content tree which is the reason why "Ctrl+P" is not working. Once you click on the content tree, the focus is there, I will report this to the development team to see if we can do anything about this.
