Multiple Users?

Hi,

Im interested in buying Actinic for my business as we need a more powerful ecommerce solution.

Please could someone provide me with info on how i can have multiple users using the software?

The reason for this is that 3 of my staff who are maning the phone can process orders, enquiries and the other pc in the stock room.

The main Db is located on 1 machine and then across your local network, the users connect to the Db (as if it were just on there machine) and process orders etc.

Only 1 person can update the site at any one time, but many can process and is all down to how many licenses you have in total...

Also, has a limit of 4 Win XP Home users with the rest needing to be professional to get best network performance.

I have 4 pcs all with Windows XP Professional running on them and they are all networked.

I intent on purchasing Actinic v8, is this all i would need to buy for £799 + VAT?

The RRP 799 price is for a single Business v8, which if you want Business Multi User, then you would be looking at more than that and also 2 additional users on the basic Bus MU to get you the 4 you want.

You need to buy the Actinic Multiuser version, not just the business one.
