    Replaceing buttons problem

I am trying to replace all the nav links on our site to buttons. I want, eventually to create some buttons to more match our site so initially I am just using the builtin buttons. However, I am having great difficulty in replacing the BrochurePageTextLinkList with a pair of buttons to link to our homepage and to my information page.

    <actinic:variable name="BrochurePageList" value="Brochure Page Text Link List" />

The problem lies with the information page:
    http://burns.writemedia.co.uk/acatalog/information.html

Once I can do that page I can do the homepage.

    Anyone any ideas?
Boy, this is a big learning curve.....and YES I've got my crampons on!

If you right click the current selector for the text link, you should have an "Edit Appearance" choice. Use this to find the button layout you want to use - Brochure Home and Terms - I think. I'm on a v7 site at the moment so can't check.

Unfortunately the only choices I see are:

      Text Brochure Page Link
      Standard Brochure Page Link
Image and Text Brochure Page Link
      Simple Brochure Page Link

      What I really want is:
      Image Brochure Page Link

I know it can be done as I've seen other folk who have done it on their sites.

THe 'Standard Brochure Page Link' will give you just an image.

What I suggest though is that you look for the 'BrochureNavBar' layout selector in your design. This will usually be in the overall page layout (aka outer layout) - use the 'Find' command (available via right-click) in the layout code window to locate it. Then fix this layout to be either the 'Horizontal Brochure Nav Bar' or the 'Vertical Brochure Nav Bar' layout (either will do as they are both 'image only' navigation bars).

This will automatically set all the links within it to be just images.

Hope that makes sense and will help out.
