Ive set the system up so that 2 people get copies of an order when they arrive. Im not getting the copies and the customer is also not getting a copy of the order however im getting an email telling me I have a catolog order to download and if I do a test in network settings it emails ok anyone else had similer problems ?

When you test this are you/the customer getting through to the actinic receipt page? It's at this stage that the order emails get sent out.

We are getting through to the world pay opening page also customers have placed orders and we have got payment and can download the order ok in actinic but the emails arnt being sent and we want someone without actinic on their pc to know when an order arrives and what its for. ive ordered myself and not got an email confirmation yet it was ok on version 7.

Have you definitely got 'Send Receipt Email Copies To' filled in in 'Business Settings | Ordering'? You can put multiple addresses in there if you leave a space between them.
Also, are the customers receiving their receipt emails?Comment

The emails get triggered when the customer reaches the actinic receipt page. Unless the customer gets to the actinic receipt page the emails won't be sent.
Place a trial order and see if you get to the actinic receipt page (thank you for your order) after paying.
