Footer text

Hi,

The footer text on my pages is not changing...

The variable that contains the text for it contains "thebunkerwarehouse.co.uk"

but "Footer Text" is still displayed on all of my pages.

I have tried changing it to different things, but it stays as "Footer Text"

Whats happenin?

There is a bit of a bug in the V8 footer/header text when using a custom design. It has been reported - dont know if it is the source of your problem though.

Is there a fix or anything yet?

Also, im not using a custom theme - ive customised a theme, but its not a dreamweaver created one.

The code to include the proper footer text in v8 is...

<actinic:variable name="HeaderFooter" value="Footer Text" />

I would do a search in the 'Design' tab (right-click and select 'Find') for the text 'Footer Text' and replace it with the above code.

and not 'Footer Text'. Did you manage to sort this then?

Hi, yeh, i was just on my way to resolve this post and say ive done it.

The footer text resides twice.

Once in the variable list in the library, and also in the "Site Options"

I found that in the site options one, there was still "Footer Text".

It seems to ignore the library one.
