    quickbooks <again>

Ok, so I had a thread a short while ago where it was established that quickbooks/actinic integration wasnt too hot on customers (e.g. customer details were properly bought across into seperate customer accounts).

However, accidently I went to actinic.com where on the front page it talks about integration with quickbooks. Then I read that:

"Exchange customer data between QuickBooks and your website" and "Offer special pricing for QuickBooks customer accounts"

What does this mean? Do sales for that customer get put into that customers account in quickbooks or still get put into a sort of global account?

    Thanks,
    Paul.

The US version of actinic has better integration with quickbooks and I suspect that's what it's talking about. I think this is largely due to quickbooks not offering the same input options in europe at the time the integration was developed.

Quickbooks now offers the full range of integration options in it's european versions and actinic are aware of this and have better integration on the wishlist.

      Thanks mike.

Knowing it is in the pipeline is enough. I will manually sort the customers out for the time being and then upgrade when it comes to it.

      Thanks for your help.

      Paul.
