    Severe error

Upgrading a site from 8.0.2 to 8.0.3 I had the following:

Severe error occured Thread attempted to read from a virtual address (0x1c) for which it does not have appropriate access. V8 then crashed.

    Any ideas?

      Hi Malcolm

I've seen that error before when changing sites. It's not terminal (although it looks proper scary). Normally restarting Actinic will clear the error, and then the upgrader will run again when you have restarted Actinic.

I'm afraid I couldn't tell you the cause of the error though.

We have the same problem on one site whenever we change sites from it it gives this error but after turn off/on it works ok, all the other 6 sites dont have this problem and swap sites ok

After a couple of restarts it changes sites ok now - one of those things I guess

Was there any resolution for this error?
I am receiving a 'severe error - recommend you restart' most times when changing sites in multi user (8.5)
