Expanding Section Menu - Is this possible

    Hello,

I'm working on a customised design layout for Actv8 and have all top level sections displayed nicely in a left-hand column.

When the user navigates to one of these top-level sections ( or any of the sections below ) I'd like to display the 2nd level sections also in the left-hand column.

    EG.

    Top level section 1
    ---2nd level section1
    ---2nd level section2
    ---2nd level section3
    Top level section 2
    Top level section 3

Is this possible within Actinic v8 or does anyone know of a plug-in that will allow this?

    Best regards

I think this is covered in the advanced user guide

A dynamic HTML menu might do the job or a java script menu. Although I don't think they respond too well to search engines.

When I was building a cart with I was going to use a DHTML menu. These look really nice and add functionality to the site. I am quite surprised that Actinic do not offer some solution to this in its package.

is this the type of menu you want?

if so, contact Norman for his collapso menu
