Extended info

is there any way of adding a component for a product on the extended info page

I had a similar problem as I was trying to set up the extended info page as a detailed product page.

As far as I know, adding choice menus cannot be done.

In v8, they are there automatically if you use the 'Includes Add To Cart Button' layout for the extended information page.

Check the Advanced User Guide on page 15 for details on how to set this up.
