Double code when using DW Extension

I may be seeing things but if you look at the code that is created when you use DW to create an outer layout then <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> is repeated. I can see this on other custom sites not just my own.

Ive just created a new site and registered a blank page. When I look at the code the double content is there - so its not my codeing. Also I see meta keyword and description tag as normal but I aslo see the variables "GlbMetaKeywords" and "GlbMetaDescription" - what are these??

      Hi Malcolm

One set of variables is for the section pages, and the other set (with Glb in front of it) is for every other page.

where does the extra <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> fit in

That line gets added in by the Dreamweaver extension. I guess if it is in your Dreamweaver design already, it will be added in a second time.

This is what I figured. So would it be best when creating a new design in DW to remove ALL code from the page created by DW before starting a new design. Looking at other DW created designs that are live I can see duplicate content there as well.

If this is the case then it should be added to the AUG.

This was not a problem with V7 as the template was normally created by opening a template from within Actinic rather than starting with one in DW.
