Snapshot Failing

Ok - starting work on this and I assumed that all the errors would relate to links I had made but the errors are showing for navigation links created by Actinic

Rather than have to amend all of these links, can't a <base href> be included instead?

You cannot ammend them they are generated by actinic.

getting more errors now relating to the page "paycash1.htm" - not one of mine.

Malcolm - paycash1.htm comes from one of the scripts - in a previous thread Chris D said it was a leftover and no longer needed.

Thanks Bill - If it is no longer needed then why is Actinic now throwing an error message??. I dont mind on my own site but the snapshot is now showing errors on multiple client snapshots and people are asking what all the errors are. As far as I can see the majority are generated from within Actinic like this one.

Had a responce from support on this one:

The problem that the software has with this, is currently being looked at,
so it is hoped that it may be resolved for the next maintenance release,
however unfortunately I do not currently have a date for this release

So it looks like a bit of a bug.

I think there were some pretty serious omissions of the 8.02 snapshot, which have now been included in 8.03. Had they already been included, then we would have got the same errors of the 8.02. I think its the fact that they corrected some of this, that has highlighted the problem.

I too have had the paycash error, but it doesn't seem to be affecting anything.

No you are correct but its the clients that are worried - you know the problem when people get a message saying error! - its all hands to the life boats

no doubt you'll stay there till all the rations are finished - had a "mate" offshore who used to do that. (Just the glucose sweeties - but that was enough) don't think many of us were sorry when management caught on - and he was awarded the full DCM [don't come (back on) Monday].
