View Cart and Checkout not working

    Hi all,

Just upgraded from V7 to V8 but now, no matter what I put in the basket, if I try to 'view basket' or 'checkout' using any of the links on the site, I get the following error message:

    A General Script Error Occurred

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Error: Error loading digital download module. Can't locate dd000001.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.7/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.7 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl . cgi-bin cgi-bin cgi-bin cgi-bin cgi-bin cgi-bin) at (eval 36) line 1.

Press the Browser back button and try again or contact the site owner

I've got no idea what's going on, any help would be greatly appreciated. It's 1a.m. and I've finally had enough!

    Check the problem at:

I'm not up on all the techno-terms, so please keep any answers as simple as possible!

    Thanks, Paul.

Add to cart is using script ca00002.pl while the view basket and checkout are calling ca00001.pl and os000001.pl respectively.

I would check to see if those two links (view cart and checkout) are hand coded - and if so, change the code to ca000002.pl and os00002.pl. If not, I can only suggest you completely refresh the website.

Added - I see the quicksearch is also calling script #1 - but when actioned is somehow redirecting to ss000002pl and returning a result.

I hand keyed the /cgi-bin/ca000002.pl?ACTION=SHOWCART into the address bar and got a malformed basket view page.

Definitely needs a purge and refresh.

Ive found that following an upgrade sites need a purge and refresh to get them working, an update usually gives problems.

Still no joy after purge and refresh

Thanks for the replies, I did a full purge and refresh this morning before I left for work, and having just checked the site again, it's still producing the same error message as before.

        Any more ideas anyone?!

        Thanks, Paul.

It looks like your V7 site was a custom design - the error suggests that actinic is looking for the product as a digital download which is not correct for the product I looked at. It may be the customisation on the previous site which is putting the products in as digital downloads rather than products. You should be able to see in the products tab.

            Hadn't thought of that one....

Thanks, I had wondered why the error was mentioning the 'digital download file' - I'll check my products tonight and see if there's something simple that I'm missing.

Thanks for your help, I'll let you know what happens!

              Still no joy

Just checked my products, as far as I can see, they're not showing as digital download products in Actinic. Perhaps it's time to call the technical helpdesk..............?!
