Coupons and Discounts

Can anyone throw some ideas at me as to how to get around this...

1. I have sent out in advertising format, a 20% coupon code - this is for new customers only that have never visited my site (using it for tracking). I want this to work across the whole site.

2. I want a general 10% discount site wide for everyone who visits my site on all products as a xmas special

- No one has customer accounts
- I know that actinic can only work around one product group - all the products are in this group.

So any other alternatives (not having much luck reading through other posts)

Not sure where you get that from. You can set up as many groups as you want (if you have Business or Developer) but each PRODUCT can belong to only ONE group. It sounds as though you want an "All Products" group anyway.

Set #1 up as an Order Level discount with requires coupon ticked and a trigger of 0.01 - apply to the All Products group.

Set #2 up as an Order Level discount with no restrictions and a trigger of 0.01 - apply to the all products group.

On the Micellaneous tab, tick the box to only allow one Order Level discount.

NOTE the higher discount must come first in the list - or the people with the coupon may only get 10%.
