Space Under Logo In IE

I've got unwanted spaces under my logo and below the top navigation when viewing the site in ie6. All is well in FireFox.
There is a similar post below, but im using Actinic Version 8

Anyone know how to get rid of these spaces?

Hi Andy

They way to do this is remove all comments and line breaks from around the '<img>' tag used for your company logo.

As you haven't given me a URL or a theme, I'm having to guess here, but I suggest going to 'Design | Library | Layouts' and opening the 'Company Logo Image' group.

Edit the layout called 'Standard Company Logo Image' (although this has no comments or line breaks in it as standard). Have you upgraded your store from v7? If so, right-click on this layout and select 'Revert to Factory Version'.

There was some code wrapped around the logo. Something to do with a spacer image. Ideleted that and all is well :-)
