"Find" Function

I've tried using: Edit > Find

and I can't see it working. Nothing happens on the screen - even if I entered the exact details I'm looking for.

Is there a guide on how it's used?

Our current way of finding customers/orders is to do a "New Order" and then use the "Search" function in that. A bit long winded way of doing it, so if the "find" function works it should be a quicker way of doing that.

In the 'Content' tab, 'Edit | Find' will search the content tree for a text string.

In the 'Orders' tab, it will bring up a more complicated search tool that allows you to search your order history for specific orders. Is this the tool you are having difficulty with - make sure you have the payment status/invoice printing status etc. all set up correctly as this can sometimes mean that Actinic does not find the things you need.
