No dotted line around layout preview in design view

I can no longer get a dotted line to appear around layouts when editing in design view. It worked ok until a few days ago, but now - nothing!

Anyone got any ideas what may be wrong?

No idea what might be wrong, but have you tried Housekeeping - Compacting database and see if this clears the problem?

Thanks David. Yes, tried that without success.

We had the same problem during the summer while testing the beta, but when we came back to v8 last month with the full version there were no problems until now. Strange
