Sharing Database

Is it possible to share a database on one site in actinic with another.

Example
I have two sites with the same products in - one is a much larger version.
poshpaws.ie and pet-bliss.com

I want to keep all the data on pet-bliss.com so that people can order here and i can implement my stock check function (which i'm currently working on)

I want people to be able to buy off poshpaws but to use the same prices as pet-bliss and to use the one stock control system to avoid having to keep multiple sites and multiple stock checks.

Did a search on sharing databases but couldn't find anything... perhaps I'm looking in the wrong direction?

Anyone know if this is possible ?

We have a product in beta test that will do this, it makes use of the Actinic external linking feature though so it only good for Actinic business or above versions. If you would like to try it out, email me.
