    Blue and white lines

Whenever I go to, or from the checkout I get a screen displayed for 2/3 seconds that is just a blue and white striped screen. Does anyone know what this is and how to get rid of it. I have looked on the knowledge base for this but I can't seem to find anything.

    Thanks

Sounds like a hardware/software fault to me.

When it does it again try and take a screenshot of it (using the 'Print Screen' button). Then paste it into an image editor/viewer.

If it can't be pasted then it's a hardware/software fault. If it can be pasted post the image here as I'd love to see it!!

Looks like the link is https://shop.sussexscuba.co.uk/. I could get into the checkout no problem but there is an issue with the country/region combination on your shipping, you may need to revert some of the checkout templates

PS I suspect the Blue/White lines are the page background!!!

Just did a dummy purchase, went to checkout using both fireFox and IE with no problems.

And Dave, you could have kept that a secret.....heh heh!!

If you enter via the main site www.sussexscuba.co.uk, go to shop, pick an item, go to extended page, order, and use the check out now button, you should get it. There are several approaches to getting to the checkout and the blue lines appear on most.

                    Thanks

I have just run another test. It also happens when you look at more deatils from the new products list on the homepage.

                      All a bit mysterious!!!

Yes, I can see that as well.

I would say that it is caused by the fact that the <BODY> is using a background image, background-depth.jpg.

Though this image is vertical to get the gradient and the stripe is a single horizontal colour and, yes I got a screenshot of it:

I think I might be inclined to try and use a background colour rather than an image just to see the effect.

I'm not able to replicate this in either IE7, Opera 9.10 or Firefox 2.

Is it an - IE6 only - thing?

                            background img

i believe its theme_main_background.gif file. you need to replace it on web server manually with any ftp client application.

This is not correct - using a background colour instead of an image is a radiobutton setting within Actinic.
