view cart contents in product pages

Has anyone set up actinic so that you can view the cart contents in each product page?

Im thinking this must be possible whether using framesets or an iframe somehow and pulling in the shopping cart page. Bit like the t*sco website so that you can see a running total of not just items and total cost but a list of products as well? I need this for a new food goods project and trying to save time by seeing if anyone else has cracked this?
