    Multiple Columns

Does anyone know where to add in multiple columns in version 8.

I've been checking the advanced guides but can only find how to do it in the version 7 documentation.

Its saying replace code in Act_ProductBody.html - but where is this in the library now ?

Settings-Site Options-Layout is probably what you are after. If you want 2 columbs of products, set the Column Count for Products to 2.

Look in each Section in the Layout tab / Product / Column Count for Products. This lets you set it on a per page basis, or Use Parent which should use the earlier defined value.

          Perfect !!

Now I just have one small problem....

I'm using small images that I have that are different to the larger images in extended information. These are all different sizes depending on if the product is longer vertically.

The text description that i'm displaying underneath is uneven
          (x is layout of image)

Where can I change the table layout for this ?

Not sure, we made all our small images 130x180 at the outset so it avoids any issues with layout. Probably possible though.

If you only specify a height dimension for your images, then the width will be calculated automatically using the original image ratio.

You could add a 1 pixel wide fixed height transparent spacer image alongside the product image to "push" the text down.

Have you tried positioning the text using CSS - you can offset the text to the top of the image so it all aligns horizontally
