Transfering Orders from V7 into V8

    Hey all,

I have just had to recreate my v7 site in v8 as it did not want to transfer correctly at all.

Is there any way i can get my v7 orders into the newly created v8 site without changing any of the content?

    Thanks

You can use the import orders option on the file menu, make sure that both sites have the same tax and shipping set up before you do this though or else things might go horribly wrong.

Always take a snapshot before using import orders.

      lol

      Thanks

Also, (just so i dont create a new post for nothing)

With V8 developer, can i have total control of the maintanance of a site while the cleint has the "client" software and only handles the orders.

ActinicCatalog.mdb from your V7 site. BTW, Actinic's Tool Tip help would have guided you there. On the Import Orders window, click the [?] icon and then cilck the field you want some info about.
