After complete Checkout the page is blank (apart from logo). Return to Home Page pos?

When I complete a checkout the browsers displays a blank page with just the logo. No links ... nothing. The brower address bar is set to siteaddress/ cgi-bin/os000001

Can I get this to say 'Thank you for your order etc...' and then after an interval return to the home page ?

Do the customers not get a receipt of any kind then?

I suggest going to 'Settings | Site Options | Layouts' and ensure that the 'Receipt Page Layout' field is set to 'Receipt Page Layout'. This should give a 'Thanks for your order' message, a printable order summary and a 'Done' button.
