disapearing "new products"

hello all,

I have been playing with the demo site and the smart template. the problem is as soon as i edit the template i loose the "new products" info.

i have added new products but they dont show up???

Have you checked that you have New products enabled?
Go to Marketing | New Product Listing | Check enabled

cheers for the reply, yep it is turned on.
although i added a product today it wasnt listed but i just hanged the days too 200 and it has added the products to the "new products page"

I'm just not getting it listed on the homepage or sidebar

fixed, i put the snapshot onto my laptop, and went to edit the variable, but disovered it wasnt there. So I added it myself and bingo done.

just dont know why its different to the other computer!!!
