V8 - 2 disks?

Just got my V8 upgrade. There are 2 disks, what are the differences - Business Multi-Site and Designer. I installed both but one just seemed to overwrite the other.

Assuming you had developer before under v7, then you get business multi site, because that is what you had in effect under the old v7.

However, because developer was originally conceived for designers, but ended up being used by end users to run multiple shops, spawned the release of Business MS under v7 and then its continuation under v8 - but to cover designers, v8 Designer was released.

So, to cover all angles of those who had Developer v7 - you get the licence for business MS and designer to cover you, so if you do design for end customers then you use the designer key, but if you build for yourself where you need the order download functions, then you use business ms.

Or, something along those lines

BTW: Install it once and then use the keys for the different titles as v8 has it all in one application (enabled by the key), which includes multi site and multi user.
