Adding Shipping Charges To Invoice

For a variety of reasons it is not possible to setup our website to automatically add the shipping charge to each order. So we need to be able to add the shipping charges to each order after it has been downloaded but before we print the invoice so it is included on the invoice. Does anyone know how this could be done?

Note: We are using the option to add a % surcharge, to add credit card payments so can not use this for shipping charges. Could not use % anyway as we need to enter the actual shipping cost.

You can do it manually in the order details | Shipping and Handling.

You can add adjustments to orders, open the order, go to the order lines tab and then add an adjustment with text explaining that this is the shipping charge and it will then appear in the list of order lines. I don't think you can set the shipping charge after an order has been placed though - ie have it appear in the shipping field in the totals column.
