add to cart only in extended info page, not product list

Hi all,

I have products listed in columns.
Trouble is under each item, I have colour and size options as well as an add to cart button.

I wish to remove the add to cart and attributes from the listing. I want these only to appear on the extended info page.

so

Product1 Product2 Product3
Image1 Image2 image3

**************************

clicking Image1 gives extended info page:

Product1
Image1

Colour Options
Size Options
<add to cart button >

any ideas ? I suspect it is in design>library ?

No worries Robert.

Just edit the layout of the product layout you are using for your compact listing.

To remove the attributes and components, remove the pink layout selectors called 'AttributeList' and 'ComponentList'.

To remove the add to cart button, remove the pink layout selector called 'AddToCartButton' and also the code that immediately surrounds the layout selector.

just noticed a small 'bug'.

When you look at the design list.
No scrollbars appear !

You have to go up and down using the arrows keys or page up/down. This can be confusing for beginners .

I'm using Win XP and Actinic V8
