Since we have upgraded to the new patch 8.4 we have been having problems with our smtp server. It has always been set to 'localhost' but since upgrading we have been getting the following message:
The computer you specified as your mail server is not a valid mail (SMTP) server. Check the computer name or address and try again. If it fails again, then it is possible, you were locked out by a firewall program, or you don't have network connection to this server.
Is it possible that the new patch has done something to make this happen or is it most likely a coinsidence and it is infact a problem with our host?
Kind regards
Alex
