Removing NETQUOTEVAR:LINK from product

I heavily use the [LINK] text on version 7 to link a page of products to a 1 page per product layout.

I am now playing about with V8 and have found that my chosen text for the link is now replaced with the old Netquote "NETQUOTEVAR:LINK " I don't really want to amend every product back to [LINK] as this will take forever.

Can anyone suggest a way to change all the "NETQUOTEVAR:LINK" to [LINK] through out the site easily?

This was a bug in the early versions of V8 - are you on the latest version where it has been fixed?

I was using 8.03 but have just installed 8.04 with a fresh import and I still get the same result.

Is it possible to access the database and change all of them at once?

Using 8.0.4 here, I can sucessfully import / replace a hierarchical file containing [LINK] in the Product Description field.

However there are still bugs in V8.0.4 - if I have text like [WOWZA] in the import, then it imports as expected and [WOWZA] shows. If you next make any change to the Description field in the Product Details and hit apply then [WOWZA] mysteriously morphs into <actinic:variable name="WOWZA" />.
