problems getting new custom variables to show in existing products

I only have OK demo sites or one faulty one with an enormous amount of products and customisation.

It might be better if Kevin send you something as he has this fault on a 60 product site.

Note that in an Export / Import clears the problem, it's also possible that importing a Snapshot will fix it too, making the Snapshot unhelpful. I've not tried this so we'll have to wait and see.
