    Odd Bottom of Section Page?

Can anyone please help me find what is causing the black at the end of the pages on some of the sections on my test site. I've made no changes to layouts just applied a theme and changed some of the colours. (V8.0.04)

This is a section that has the problem: link removed - problem sorted
And this is one is OK: link removed - problem sorted

    Thanks.

Have you solved the problem - I can see no difference between the pages.

The issues is stemming from the length of the page not clearing the <HTML> tag ... you have a spare unsued <div> right at the bottom of the code ... give this a name and try setting the background-color: #fff

I tested this on the fly in Firefox setting a new HTML with #fff background colour and that resolved the pages with the short content

Thanks for your help guys. I've got a whole lot to learn with V8!

Some people are addicted to heroin or cocaine - it seems some others (including me) may be addicted to Actinic and this forum.

Cheers! - he says touching glasses. Happy Christmas!

I was hoping I understood what you meant earlier to resolve this but I don't. Can you explain in a bit more detail what I need to do to get rid of this problem please?

If you make the browser window big enough you can see the bottom of the page is black across the page.

Duncan the only black i can see on that link you provided is the headings. If the black you are referring to is these, then take a look in the stylesheet at the classes:

                    "tech_text_product_section" and "tech_menu_button_title".

The images are not working on that link also, is that as it should be or are we seeing something different to you?

If you make your browser window tall enough to see beyond the bottom of the normal page (ie below the bottom of te new products window) then you will see the black from left to right completely across the browser page. If your screen won't let you get rid of the scroll bar then you won't be able to go far enough 'down' to see the problem.

(PS - not sure what you mean about not seeing the images on that page??)

Ive sized it as big as i can and cannot see what you are mentioning. With regards to the images, your logo and buttons etc all have the little red cross indicating they are not where they should be.

Duncan I am getting the same page as Lee which is a show form link - do you have a direct URL that can be edited out later to prevent it showing in the forum?

Sorry forgot you need to enter the showform page via a cgi link not directly.
The reason I linked to the Contact Us page is that it is the shortest page and therefore the easiest to see the 'black' problem.
