    Frontpage Upload Error

    Hi,

I'm trying to upload my frontpage website via FTP to the Actinic hosting server - my actinic catalogue is already on the server. However, I keep getting the error message: 550 Index.html: Permission denied.

This is stopping any of my frontpage web pages uploading to the server.

Has anyone got any ideas how I can resolve this problem? I've already tried changing the homepage name from index.htm to index.html and my frontpage publishing optins are set to overwrite pages already on the server but I this keep getting the same error message.

    Thanks very much.

You don't say what FTP package you are using to do this. Are you using the same FTP identity (username) and Password that used in Actinic Network Settings? That should avoid ownership properties issues.

I've since found out why this error was coming up. I was not setting my remote web address correctly to publish to the httpdocs folder.

      Thanks anyway.
