Nonsecured item = grey hair

Hi all,

I've tried my best to solve this problem but am not able to pinpoint the culprit that gives me the following https error:

When choosing CHECKOUT from my basket I'm getting the warning "This page contains both secure and nonsecure items. Do you want to ......etc, etc"

For the life of me I cannot find which item is causing this, if I choose NO in the above dialog box and then click on the 'Page opened with errors' message in the bottom left hand corner of my browser (IE7) it tells me about some referrer stuff. At that point my brain starts to fry...

When you get a minute please have a look at http://www.between.co.uk/acatalog/index.html and see whether you can spot what's causing the problem.

It's likely caused by this

Look for and implement the https link and that problem should go away.

Yep, that's the one - excellent!

One problem I have with https'ing the link in the checkout pages is that I have added the Google script into the content page in design view so that it appears in all store pages. If I choose the checkout pages in the 'Select Page Type' dropdown and change it to https it changes all other instances of the script to https too, i.e. for all the normal product pages, which should obviously not be encrypted.

How do I change it in the checkout only and not in the rest of the site? I have obviosuly inserted the script into the wrong place as I need to insert it differently into these two locations. Where does it need to go?

There is a long thread here on GA - you might find the answer in that. What you need is pair of conditions (perhaps in PHP) that show different versions depending on the location.

The missing word I think is 'layout'. If you use a different layout for the checkout that means you can insert different tracking code.
