molend - ebay product export help

I am trying jans product mash

The idea is to create an export file that I can import into turbo lister

This works great but i need to do a bit of tweeking

I have just over 1000 products to list on ebay so I wanted to automatically put them into the right sections in my ebay store

I have set up the store sections to be an exact copy of my v8 site

I know that in the feed options -> ebay -> new custom property -> select section variable - Store category

I can set the value to be something in actinic

How do i select product parent section as i cannot seem to find it in the list

If you take a look at this topic on our forum, it explains how to do this in V8, the example given is for google base but the same applies to the ebay mash.

Basically you have to set up the UDP for the product but set it to default to use parent so that the value will be picked up from the parent.

Thanks for the heds up jan

Point of note - the ebay shop sections are not called by there visible name when you import a product file into turbo lister. you need to find there number reference.

the easiest way i could find is create a dummy product and assign it to a particula section. then just export the list and hey presto you have the reference number of the ebay section. A big pain yes but you only need to do this once

I followed your instructions but i could set this custom var by section but this did not pass down to the products on that section. before you ask yes i did click product when i set the variable up

I must be doing something wrong

      anyway

      happy new year all
