    vat exemption for the disabled

Every VAT office offers a different ruling on what is and what isn't exempt for the disabled market

some time ago (June/July) the v7 forum was asked this question:
An online store sells products for the disabled, some of which can have the tax exempted by a registered disabled person if they fill in a form, and some if which must have tax paid on them by everybody. It's no problem to allow exemption on the entire order, but is there a way of allowing exemption on certain products only?
the reply was "you can probably do this in the tax tables" but no further guidance was forthcoming.

wanting to do a similar thing, can anyone throw any light on a solution.?

    Kevin,

Actinic treats VAT as a Global variable for the store and as you are aware can either charge VAT or completely exempt it on an order. This is one for the wish-list and I will post it there for you.
